Weekly Update Apr 23-27 We’d like to start by thanking School Council and our volunteers for organizing and running a great movie night last week. It was a sellout again and the popcorn machine was running full out to keep up with the demand. Many hands make for light work and good fun. The week we have several celebrations. Our Grade 2-4 Choir has been investing two lunch hours a week for months to hone their skills. On Wednesday they will be sharing with us – an AM show for the school and a PM show for parents and guests. Our choir will also be the main event at our Volunteer Tea on Friday morning. For all our volunteers we hope you will be able to join us. If you can’t make it, please accept our thanks for the gift of your time. There are many things that happen in school that would not be possible without volunteers. Dayna and I are looking forward to passing over our responsibilities on Friday to Maya A – Principal and Adalyn G – Assistant Principal our two Grade 2 students who raised the most money in our Read A Thon. We met with them last week to do some planning – and there is very little time to rest in the day they have put together. We shared some information around our hours/calendar and organization at School Council last week and some other celebrations. The School Report is attached below.
